Northrop Grumman is looking for a Electromechanical Technician 3 to support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab SMART Lab assembling and testing propulsion systems.
Responsibilities • Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership • Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters • Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems
Basic Qualifications for Electromechanical Technician 3 • High school degree or equivalent and 7 years related experience. • Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety • Mechanical and electrical precision assembly • Understanding drawings work orders and test procedures
Preferred Qualifications for Electromechanical Technician 3 • Orbital welding • Hand TIG welding • Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test • Electrical functional set up and test • Sheet metal fabrication
