The role involves operating grinding and polishing equipment to meet precise dimensions and surface finishes, with duties including loading/unloading parts, performing basic grinding under supervision, using measurement tools, monitoring machine performance, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 0-2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience. Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills are desired. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and working safely around equipment.
