Description

Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Technical Coordinator (Die Sort - Day Shift)  in Santa Rosa, CA.
 

As an Manufacturing Technical Coordinator, you will:

  • Handle and process delicate semiconductor wafers and chip components with exceptional care and precision.
  • Perform die sort and visual inspection activities in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
  • Follow detailed product documentation, work instructions, and engineering specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate sophisticated manufacturing equipment by interpreting hardware documentation and operating procedures.
  • Support semiconductor fabrication and inspection processes, including wafer sorting and visual inspection activities.
  • Maintain compliance with standardized operating procedures and strict safety requirements.
  • Communicate concerns, issues, and process improvements through established channels and escalation procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination when handling fragile and high-value materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production, quality, and operational goals.
  • Continuously develop new skills and adapt to evolving manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

 

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Day Shift; Monday through Friday


 

The ideal candidate will have:

       Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to safely handle fragile semiconductor wafers, chips, and precision components.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and grow within a high-tech manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work in an ESD-safe manufacturing environment.

       Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer processing, or cleanroom environments.
  • Experience with integrated circuit fabrication processes.
  • Visual inspection or die sort experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience operating technical manufacturing equipment and interpreting process documentation.
     

Pay Range: $28.00 - $28.67 per hour
