Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team in Southern Indiana. This supervisor will be overseeing manufacturing processes by managing staff on the production floor and coordinating resources. Their duties include assigning employees to production stations and monitoring output levels at various points in the production process. Responsibilities - Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the production facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and employee performance.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the production team promptly and effectively.
Requirements - High School Diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of supervisor experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
