Our highly engineered products serve as the backbone of modern-day commercial and military communications systems, support and protect soldiers, sailors, and pilots, empower scientific discoveries and space exploration, help ensure the safety of imported foods and materials, and much more.

We are looking for energetic, agile, highly motivated, and customer focused individuals to join our team and help us to continue to be a market leader, shaping the future in communications and power.

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

In this 1st‑shift Manufacturing Supervisor role, you will lead and develop an onsite assembly and test team responsible for producing complex, high‑mix/low‑volume aerospace RF passive products in Beverly, MA. You will set a strong operational cadence, driving performance in on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield, quality, and production flow. Your leadership will shape the culture on the floor building a high‑performance team through clear expectations, structured coaching, and intentional cross‑training that expands capability and flexibility. You will identify and grow high‑potential employees, strengthen team alignment, and ensure consistent execution through disciplined tiered daily management. Leveraging continuous‑improvement tools and a hands‑on presence, you will eliminate roadblocks, improve processes, and deliver measurable operational results. This role is non‑union and requires direct engagement on the production floor, partnering closely with engineering, planning, and quality to support the needs of a dynamic product line.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • High Impact: Own the daily/weekly build plan, line loading, and commit-to-ship cadence; remove constraints fast to protect OTD and quality.
  • Bias for Action: Run tiered daily management (Tier boards), escalate issues, and maintain visual controls for WIP and flow.
  • Fast Growth Path: Develop operators/techs/inspectors through skills matrices and cross-training that increase flexibility and team capability.
  • Production Leadership & Flow: Balance high-mix/low-volume builds; optimize standard work, line balancing, and changeover to cut queue time and cycle time.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing and developing teams of 20+ across diverse product lines, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Materials Readiness & Shipment Execution: Maintain shipment schedule integrity (promises, risk pulls, expedites) with proactive communication.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure traveler accuracy, routing discipline, traceability, and defect reduction through error-proofing and robust documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead Kaizen/5S, waste elimination, and setup reduction initiatives with quantified outcomes (OTD, FPY, cycle time, scrap).
  • NPI & Change Management: Support ECNs and process validations to introduce new builds while protecting schedule and quality.
  • Safety & Culture: Champion a safe, inclusive, high-accountability environment; model urgency and ownership in a dynamic RF setting.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Required:

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a complex build environment.

  • Demonstrated bias for action with examples of improving OTD/FPY or reducing cycle time/scrap.

  • Ability to lead and coach a small team (operators/techs/inspectors) with clear expectations and feedback.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable making decisions in a fast-changing environment.

  • Preferred:

  • Experience in high-mix/low-volume aerospace or complex electromechanical assembly.

  • Exposure to RF passive components (e.g., TR hard-brazed tubes, RF limiters).

  • U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.

Salary Range $71,000 - $101,500 / year
