- SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Supplier Audits: Qualify and audit suppliers of critical components, including semiconductors, superconducting materials, optics and cryogenic systems.
- Traceability: Define incoming inspection criteria and ensure full traceability of critical components throughout the supply chain.
- Non-Conformance Resolution: Manage supplier non-conformances, driving corrective actions and tracking resolution to closure.
- Procurement Collaboration: Work with procurement to ensure quality requirements are embedded in supplier contracts and specifications.
- FAILURE ANALYSIS & ROOT CAUSE INVESTIGATION
- Investigation Leadership: Lead and document failure analysis investigations, coordinating with R&D and engineering teams as needed.
- CAPA: Define and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), verifying their effectiveness over time.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis using failure analysis tools and techniques (SEM, X-ray, microscopy) in collaboration with technical teams.
- RELIABILITY & QUALIFICATION TESTING
- Test Definition: Define and execute reliability qualification tests.
- Acceptance Criteria: Establish acceptance criteria and test protocols for new products and process changes.
- Data-Driven Recommendations: Analyze reliability test data and provide recommendations to improve product robustness.
- NPI Support: Support new product introduction (NPI) processes from a quality and reliability perspective.
- CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Manufacturable Design: Work closely with R&D and Operations to transition designs into manufacturable, high-yield processes.
- Milestone Alignment: Collaborate with Operations to align quality milestones with project timelines and production planning.
- Sales Support: Support Sales with quality documentation and technical responses for client audits or tenders.
- DOCUMENTATION, COMPLIANCE & AUDITS
- Documentation Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, ensuring full traceability and version control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry-specific quality requirements.
- Data Integrity: Contribute to the company's data integrity and quality record-keeping practices in line with applicable standards.
