Title: Manufacturing Quality Associate

Description:
100% Onsite

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections and measurements on incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Materials will include both refractory and sheet metal.
Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular inspections of production processes to monitor quality control parameters and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and documentation.
Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Support the department's safety initiatives, apply knowledge of industrial safety standards, and identify health hazards.

Required Skills
Able to interpret technical documentation (e.g. specifications, design prints, SOPs, etc.)
Proficient in using hand measurement tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of quality control methods, practices, and procedures.
High attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Desired Skills
Previous manufacturing experience
Metal fabrication and welding knowledge
Metrology experience (e.g. CMM, vision systems, 3D scanning, etc.)
Solidworks/CAD understanding
