What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Press Technician, you'll be a key player in our production process, ensuring quality products while maintaining our equipment and safety standards.

Quality & Precision

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Monitor product quality and stop production when standards aren't met
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records in our computer systems

Equipment & Maintenance

  • Perform preventive maintenance: lubrication, safety checks, and minor repairs
  • Keep work areas clean and safe from debris, oil, and hazards
  • Operate and maintain press equipment following established procedures

Material Management

  • Safely operate forklifts and overhead hoists
  • Load/unload raw materials and verify material specifications
  • Transport materials efficiently in pedestrian and confined areas

Technical Skills

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and charts
  • Document production data accurately in operating systems

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturing experience OR demonstrated mechanical skills
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Commitment to safety and environmental procedures

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous press operation experience
  • Forklift certification (training provided if needed)
  • Experience with precision measurement tools
