Manufacturing Operator Trainee

Our client in Elk Rapids MI, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator Trainee to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator Trainee, you will be part of the industrial manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator Trainee (Short-term position)

Location: Elk Rapids

Pay Range: $21-23/hr based on shift.

Shift:
1st shift - 4:30 am to 3 pm (Monday thru Thursday)
2nd shift - 2:30 pm to 1 am (Monday thru Thursday)

What's the Job?

• Operate and maintain machinery used in the production of silicone parts
  • operates different machinery aspects of the position under Supervision.
• Apply PTFE coatings and protectors to blades, ensuring quality standards
• Complete daily labor and log sheets accurately
• Package, seal, and prepare products for shipment while maintaining lot traceability
• Operates scales for weighing product
• Bags and heats sealing product
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing or related field
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computer operations
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
