Under general supervision, you will provide essential warehouse support. Your responsibilities will include operating equipment, replenishing inventory, and handling materials. You will also play a key role in picking, packing, and shipping all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Assist in moving materials from receiving areas to designated locations.
- Facilitate outbound shipments using proper packing methods.
- Allocate products to appropriate storage locations.
- Execute weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Record shipment data and handle discrepancies.
- Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience in material handling.
- Physical activity including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime, including occasional weekends.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment.
Preferences
- Experience operating power tool equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks.
- Working knowledge of scanning equipment and database tracking systems.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
