Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift

Compensation: $65,000 - 80,000

A day in this role

When the second or third shift clock starts, you take the helm of a crew of operators and team leads. You set the pace for a safe floor, guide changeovers, and keep quality front and center. As work orders shift, you rebalance staffing and line priorities, removing roadblocks and driving toward daily, weekly, and monthly output targets. You partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to troubleshoot issues and keep improvements moving. Throughout the shift, you verify time entries, approve PTO, arrange coverage, and coach your team—celebrating wins and addressing performance concerns professionally and promptly.

What you will do

• Direct and mentor production operators and team leads to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality results.
• Own daily/weekly/monthly production KPIs, proactively reallocating resources to meet targets.
• Organize work assignments, headcount, and line priorities to optimize throughput and performance.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve issues and advance continuous improvement.
• Manage attendance and staffing, including PTO approvals and planning coverage for absences.
• Audit and confirm timekeeping records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Address performance and conduct through coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary steps when required.

Must haves

• 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Proven background handling administrative tasks such as PTO approvals, timesheet verification, and disciplinary documentation.
