Description

• Lead manufacturing operations with a focus on improving throughput, production flow, and on-time delivery in a highly customized production environment.
• Identify and address process bottlenecks to increase capacity, shorten lead times, and improve overall operational performance.
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team leaders, creating accountability and ownership at all levels of the organization.
• Establish effective daily management processes, ensuring clear communication, issue escalation, and execution across the production floor.
• Support business growth initiatives through the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and production capabilities.
• Maintain a strong presence on the plant floor, partnering with teams to resolve operational challenges and remove barriers to success.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, quality, efficiency, and workforce development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to support facility enhancements, process optimization efforts, and long-term strategic expansion plans.

Profile

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience within a complex production environment.
• Proven success managing high-mix, low-volume, made-to-order, or highly customized manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of production flow, bottleneck management, capacity planning, and operational performance improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and empower supervisors, lead personnel, and frontline teams.
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable spending significant time on the manufacturing floor driving execution and problem resolution.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Theory of Constraints (TOC), QRM, or similar operational methodologies.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and create accountability throughout the organization.
• Results-oriented professional capable of supporting significant growth, scaling manufacturing capacity, and leading operational change in a fast-paced environment.
