Description
Lead manufacturing operations with a focus on improving throughput, production flow, and on-time delivery in a highly customized production environment.
Identify and address process bottlenecks to increase capacity, shorten lead times, and improve overall operational performance.
Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team leaders, creating accountability and ownership at all levels of the organization.
Establish effective daily management processes, ensuring clear communication, issue escalation, and execution across the production floor.
Support business growth initiatives through the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and production capabilities.
Maintain a strong presence on the plant floor, partnering with teams to resolve operational challenges and remove barriers to success.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, quality, efficiency, and workforce development.
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to support facility enhancements, process optimization efforts, and long-term strategic expansion plans.
Profile
10+ years of progressive manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience within a complex production environment.
Strong understanding of production flow, bottleneck management, capacity planning, and operational performance improvement.
Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and empower supervisors, lead personnel, and frontline teams.
Hands-on leader who is comfortable spending significant time on the manufacturing floor driving execution and problem resolution.
Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Theory of Constraints (TOC), QRM, or similar operational methodologies.
Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and create accountability throughout the organization.
Results-oriented professional capable of supporting significant growth, scaling manufacturing capacity, and leading operational change in a fast-paced environment.
