A growing manufacturer of high-performance consumer products is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a wide variety of automated manufacturing and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
2. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs.
3. Troubleshoot complex problems related to equipment like motors, conveyors, pneumatics systems, and wiring systems.
4. Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills to repair and maintain equipment and machinery.
5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
8. Document and maintain records of repairs, fixes, and maintenance.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about machine performance and malfunctions.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
2. Proven experience in working with motors, conveyors, pneumatics, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
4. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity.
8. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
9. Certifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
