Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Expert to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on a variety of manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

 

Job Description

  • Install new mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and modify existing equipment to support production requirements.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on CNC and manual machines using established procedures, written instructions, and maintenance checklists.
  • Schedule and complete maintenance and repairs on all NC and manual equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Repair and maintain multi-axis lathes, mills, and other production equipment.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain equipment according to established procedures and report any abnormalities or deviations.
  • Utilize hand tools and automated or semi-automated maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Develop preventive maintenance checklists and procedures for machine operators.
  • Prepare detailed maintenance reports and accurately document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel and machine operators on maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in pre-job planning, toolbox talks, and daily safety meetings.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Complete all required safety training, including forklift operation, electrical safety, emergency response, first aid, hazardous materials, PPE, risk reporting, IT security, and drug and alcohol compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 12–15 years of experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to independently schedule, prioritize, and complete maintenance and repair activities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience maintaining both CNC and manual machine tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare detailed maintenance documentation and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Mazak CNC machines with Mitsubishi electrical components
  • Charmilles EDM machines
  • Mitsubishi EDM machines
  • Siemens control systems
  • Mori Seiki equipment
  • Nagel TBT machines

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

 

Additional requirements

  • Shift: M-F, 4:00am to 12:30pm

 

Pay rate

  • $30 - $40 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
