Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
Collaborates with: Welding, Assembly
Primary Responsibility: The Manufacturing Equipment Operator is responsible for the production components to internal and customer requirements.
Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as necessary; sometimes required.
What You'll Do:
Operate equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
Prepare sheet metal for welding per specs.
To meet and/or exceed standards for safety, productivity, housekeeping, and attendance
Interpretation of blueprints and written part requirements.
Process inspection, certification, and documentation as needed.
Read parts list and determine if all parts are present.
Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
Cut, shape metals to be prepped for the welders.
Other duties as assigned.
What Qualifies You:
Experience operating forklifts and/or cranes.
Ability to read a tape measure
High School Diploma.
Proven decision making and analytical skills.
Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes
Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
