Manufacturing Equipment & Automation Technician

We’re hiring now for a hands-on technician who ensures machines, facilities, and automation run safely and efficiently. If you excel at mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial setting—and have a knack for practical problem-solving—this role is built for you.

Role summary

• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to sustain safe operating conditions.
• Respond to and resolve unplanned equipment failures with root-cause-driven repairs.
• Support installation, startup, and integration of new production assets.
• Optimize equipment performance and shop flow to reduce scrap and boost productivity.
• Execute tool setups, mold changes, and production sampling to assist operations.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

Required experience and capabilities

• Minimum 3 years as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical strength: interpret blueprints/schematics and repair complex mechanisms.
• Licensed/trained to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, or similar mobile equipment.
• Baseline electrical: troubleshooting, installation, and repair. PLC/robot troubleshooting or programming is preferred but not mandatory.
• Repair/installation background with motors, pumps, filters, air compressors, and chillers.
• Computer proficiency; confident with HMIs/touchscreen machine interfaces.
• Physical ability to routinely lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Personal tool set required.
• Capable of rapid response to emergencies or breakdowns that demand immediate, physical intervention.
• Thrives independently and collaborates well in a fast-paced team environment.
