Position OverviewAs part of the Engineering team, you will provide ongoing direct technical support to assembly production processes, supporting day‑to‑day production activities while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.Essential FunctionsServe as a technical resource supporting assembly operators and production operationsProvide ongoing ‘first responder' style technical support for assembly processes and production equipment to maximize efficiency and support daily production goalsReview production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand the manufacturing methods and activitiesEngage in current production activities, providing troubleshooting support to process and equipment related issues causing downtime and loss of production outputActive participant in safety and ergonomic activities to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all team membersUse Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools to drive continuous improvement of processesWork cross‑functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to address issues as they ariseProvide updates to process documentation as requiredAssist with training and onboarding of new assembly line team membersRequired QualificationsHigh school educationMinimum 3‑5 years of relevant work experiencePC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPointGood written and oral communication skillsStrong work ethic – positive attitude, adaptable, flexible, sense of urgency, high integrity, dependable and responsible, self‑motivatedExcellent problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize projectsAbility to interact and communicate with different functions and various levels of employeesQuality mindset, willing to communicate product quality issues and concernsPreferred Qualifications2‑year technical degree in process engineering or related manufacturing fieldBasic understanding of engine assembly processesFormal Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green belt certificationSelf‑motivated, self‑directed, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently within deadlinesSalary and BenefitsThe anticipated pay range is $54,300 – $75,400 annually. The position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
