Job Description
Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads and develops Covaris' manufacturing engineering team, with responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and delegating engineering resources across instrument and consumables manufacturing. This is a people- and program-leadership role focused on building team capability, managing departmental priorities and budget, and ensuring the engineering organization delivers reliable, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing for products used in biological sample preparation.
The successful candidate is a seasoned leader with 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 5+ years directly managing engineering teams. Rather than functioning as a working / individual contributor, this leader sets direction, allocates resources, removes obstacles, and draws on deep engineering experience to mentor and develop the team.

Basic Qualifications:
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $140,000 to $160,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
