Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Ewing, NJ

Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for assisting the maintenance staff in keeping equipment operational. Also responsible for identifying improvement opportunities by collecting and analyzing production data.

Responsibilities:
- Identify deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements.
- Monitors process controls and control systems.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Leads the following:
1. Mechanical design and drawing of fixtures/components/mechanisms critical to the manufacture.
2. Prepares specifications and requests quotes for new designs or revised systems and components.
3. Generates supporting documentation and Return on Investment data for Capital Equipment projects.
- Oversees installation of new or modified equipment.
- At times provides oversight and supervision to maintenance staff.
- Maintains work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
- Evaluate processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control
- Performs other duties as directed.



Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering Discipline with applicable experience.
- 5 year of industry experience in a manufacturing or factory environment required.
- AC motors and Drives/Starters up to 400hp +
- Pumps and slurry transport
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and other mechanical engineering concepts
- Rockwell Software: PLC, Operator interface, Factory Talk and related software packages.
- Robotics implementation and programming.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and project management skills.
- Able to work independently with attention to detail.
- Able to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines.
- Able to write reports, document findings, and procedures, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
