Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite Ocala, FL)
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will provide manufacturing engineering support by resolving quality defects, performing PMR/MRB disposition activities, improving production processes, supporting SAP-driven manufacturing operations, and ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality production within the manufacturing facility.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) job, an On-site role based out in Ocala, FL.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assembly equipment installation processing, machining and material handling.
- Designs the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
- Designs the sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspects the performance of machinery, equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. - Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility performing engineering support.
- 3+ years of experience with SAP.
- 3+ years of experience with Quality defect dispositioning.
- 3+ years of experience with PMR.
- Bachelor's Degree.
