We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our manufacturing operation with a primary focus on mechanical design, CAD, fixture development, and manufacturing improvement. Working closely with a senior mechanical designer, this role will build knowledge of existing products, tools, and standards while taking ownership of projects that are key to realizing the factory vision. You will make an impact by: Support the design and development of production tools, fixtures, equipment, and related CAD models and drawings Collaborate with the senior mechanical designer, as well as R&D, Engineering, and Product Management, to clarify product specifications and manufacturing requirements Develop and implement design, process, and equipment improvements to enhance manufacturability, efficiency, reliability, and overall production performance Lead and support multiple improvement projects, coordinating with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and service providers as needed Troubleshoot production issues, monitor machine utilization and equipment performance, and identify practical solutions and improvement opportunities Create and maintain engineering documentation, procedures, and training materials You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Mechatronics preferred Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong mechanical design, CAD, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to design fixtures, tools, and manufacturing support equipment Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Background in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics disciplines Experience supporting manufacturing operations Familiarity with SQL, Access, or production data analysis Experience with SAP, PLCs, HMIs, or other manufacturing systems Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement About Siemens We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
