Description

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop standardized work instructions and production documentation.
  • Conduct time studies to establish accurate production benchmarks.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure product designs support manufacturability.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues on the shop floor.
  • Lead or contribute to lean manufacturing and efficiency initiatives.
  • Design and refine tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance workflow.
  • Maintain routings, BOMs, and manufacturing data within relevant systems.
  • Research and apply emerging manufacturing technologies when beneficial.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3-7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming, machining).
  • Experience programming CNC milling machines and lathes.
  • Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with Inventor Vault is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and support team development.
