Non-local candidates are not eligible.Job title - Manufacturing Engineer IILocation- Irvine, CA 92618 - 100% onsite roleDuration - 18 months contractRequest id#4741-1Job Description:Job Summary:Associate Engineer II assists or leads the design and development of manufacturing processes for products, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing. Such design and development may include new or revised processes.Develops procedures for the economical mass production in cooperation with pilot-plant and production departments.Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services, troubleshoots, and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.Requires understanding of compliance, pharmaceutical, pharmacological, biological, biochemical, medical, patent, and commercial factors.May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.Associate Engineer II assists or leads the Lifecycle management of the ITC products.This role is essential and critical for the following reasons: 1) Multiple exotic, high tech, single source components, 2) aging product designs, including PCBAs, where components are reaching end of life, 3) multiple redesigns of components and systems, 4) product upgrades and extensions, 5) ongoing change requests at a high level.A dedicated resource is required to handle the amount and technical complexity of the issues that face the ITC.Must be/have:1) Able to take initiative, a self-starter on mechanical projects and product lifecycle management.2) Able to read technical/mechanical drawings (SolidWorks/Creo) with electrical schematics a plus.3) High learning agility with manufacturing and documentation processes.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type ContractJob function Job function Manufacturing, Design, and Product ManagementIndustries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Medical Equipment ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Aequor by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Manufacturing Engineer” roles.
