Manufacturing Engineer (industrial equipment mfg)

Well-established (and growing!) industrial equipment manufacturing company has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Under the direction of the Director of Operations, will act as the technical liaison between product design engineers and manufacturing teams
• Ensure products are manufactured to design intent, meet quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support both new product development and sustaining engineering efforts (from concept through production and life cycle support)
• Provide engineering support to Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service teams
• Support and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, subassemblies, and raw materials within company’s ERP system
• Support manufacturing process improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve assembly processes and reduce waste
• Support high-mix, low-volume production needs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, sustainability, and quality enhancement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
• Experience working in an industrial equipment/product engineering environment
• 3D CAD experience (Solidworks) a plus
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Ability to travel ~20-25% of the time (regionally)
• Ability to pass a drug test

Salary: $90-110K
