3rd Shift Weld / Manufacturing Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations in the Fabrication department, specifically focusing on welding processes. The position involves supporting operators, maintenance, and salary support staff, troubleshooting MES systems, and both automated and manual welding processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with manual and robotic welding systems, preferably Fanuc.
• Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.
• Proficient in troubleshooting automated and/or manual processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in project or process development and documentation.
• Proficiency in using client products such as Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to document work effectively.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure production runs smoothly during 3rd shift operations in the Fabrication department.
• Support operators, maintenance, and salary support staff.
• Troubleshoot MES systems and welding processes.
• Provide training to operators and support weekend production needs as required.
