We are seeking highly skilled Manufacturing Engineers to support and improve PCBA and Electro-Mechanical production processes, create clear work instructions, and ensure efficient manufacturing operations. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for PCBA and Electro-Mechanical Processes
- Create and maintain detailed work instructions for production PCBA and Electro-Mechanical Processes.
- Support production line operations and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Design, and Operations to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in the implementation and support of MES systems, PLM systems (e.g., Windchill), and CAD tools.
- Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) and process validation efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years or prior relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Candidate must be a U.S Citizen and hae to ability obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance
- Candidate must be a resident of the Northern Alabama area or will to relocate to the area
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise work instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to be hands-on and support production floor activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in PCBA or Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
- Process development and production support of PCBA or Electro-Mechanical Assembly
- Experience with Solumina, Windchill, MES systems, and SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and lead process improvement initiatives.
