We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations at our client's Houston facility while working closely with both local and remote teams. This role will be responsible for supporting production planning, manufacturing execution, quality control, process improvement, materials coordination, and overall operational performance.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in electronics manufacturing and power system products, along with the ability to improve efficiency, maintain quality standards, support on-time delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, maintain, and improve manufacturing and operational strategies that align with Company's business goals and site objectives.Oversee manufacturing activities to help ensure products are delivered on schedule while meeting safety, quality, and reliability expectations.Coordinate the availability of materials, components, equipment, and production resources required to meet manufacturing targets while supporting lean inventory practices.Work closely with engineering, R&D, supply chain, and quality teams to support new product introductions, process improvements, and production readiness.Lead and support continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, cost control, and operational efficiency.Help optimize the use of labor, equipment, tools, and manufacturing resources to support competitiveness and effective production performance.Provide operational and administrative support related to local facility needs, cross-site collaboration, regulatory requirements, and health and safety matters.Support corporate ISO initiatives and quality management system requirements, including training, documentation, audits, and compliance activities.Maintain manufacturing records, work instructions, operational documentation, equipment, tooling, fixtures, preventative maintenance schedules, and calibration requirements.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.8+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality, or related operational environments.Previous management, team leadership, or supervisory experience.Strong understanding of production operations, quality systems, PCB manufacturing, inspection processes, and product development lifecycles.Experience working with design engineering teams, EMS providers, suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing partners.Familiarity with automated test systems, circuit board inspection, in-circuit programming, offline programming, and manufacturing performance metrics.Experience with NI LabVIEW, TestStand, and/or IPC-A-610 inspection standards is considered an asset.Strong understanding of facility operations, infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and quality-related administrative processes.Experience in the power systems or protection relay industry is preferred.Experience working with ISO 9001 quality management systems is required.Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, as well as inventory and production management tools.Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
