Summary:
In this role as a manufacturing engineer, you will have responsibilities related to keeping production running during operations in the Fabrication department at Davenport Works. Duties will include but are not limited to supporting operators, maintenance, and salary support staff. This could include trouble shooting MES systems, automated or manual welding processes, training operators, and other production supporting related tasks. This role will require weekend support depending on production needs.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience with manual and robotic welding systems. Fanuc Preferred.
  • Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot automated and/or manual processes.
  • Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.
  • Ability to follow up with group communications or work tickets.
  • Ability to document work.
  • Ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel and Outlook.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.13 - $47.13/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
