The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance throughout the facility. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to optimize manufacturing methods, reduce waste, improve throughput, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead process improvement projects, support capital investments, troubleshoot production challenges, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste.Create and maintain process documentation, standard work instructions, manufacturing routings, and operational procedures.Support daily manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve process reliability and equipment effectiveness.Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality, production, safety, and equipment concerns.Develop and implement process controls to improve product consistency and manufacturing performance.Lead capital improvement projects, including equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and process validation.Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and drive data-based decision making.Evaluate facility layouts, material flow, and workstation designs to improve efficiency and ergonomics.Support new product introductions through process development, manufacturing readiness, and production launch activities.Work with suppliers and equipment vendors to evaluate manufacturing technologies and implement process improvements.Assist in establishing labor standards, capacity planning, and production forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.Participate in cost reduction initiatives and recommend process improvements that improve profitability and operational performance.Qualifications / Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Automation Engineering required.7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required.Experience supporting machining, fabrication, assembly, metalworking, or industrial manufacturing operations strongly preferred.Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects preferred.Experience with capital projects, equipment implementation, and manufacturing process development preferred.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.Hands‑on experience with automation solutions, robotics, robotic programming, and manufacturing process automation strongly preferred.Health Coverage: The company covers 80% of medical, dental, and vision premiums, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for you and your family.Retirement Savings: Enjoy immediate full vesting in our 401(k) plan, with a generous company match to support your financial future.Life Insurance: Receive company‑paid life insurance for peace of mind and security.Paid Time Off: 11 paid holidays, plus paid vacation, and sick time available in your first year.Work-Life Balance: Supportive benefits designed to help you maintain a healthy work‑life balance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
