We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team for an 8-month assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and improving product quality. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in manufacturing support and a keen eye for detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing support/environment
- Experience in planning and designing manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in analyzing equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in writing manufacturing work instructions
- Proven track record of implementing process changes that improve product quality
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between different departments
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant
- Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, and work force utilization
- Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications
