Hourly Rate Range: $30.00 - $55.00 based on experience with limited benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer in Clearwater, FL to support the production floor by working with the operations team. Designs manufacturing processes and production layout for circuit card assemblies and subassemblies. Understands how the circuit card assembly process works. Cable harness experience and electromechanical subassembly experience are also beneficial.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
- Cable harness experience and process writing are a plus
Duties
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies..
- Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements.
- Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.
- Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications
