    Manufacturing Engineer

    Cincinnati, OH | Defense Manufacturing | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Day Shift

    Compensation: $70,000 – $105,000

    Employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire

    About the Opportunity

    Our client is a well-established U.S.-based defense manufacturer with over 85 years of engineering and producing mission-critical military and rugged industrial systems. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a stable, growth-oriented organization that builds products used by the U.S. military in demanding operational environments.     What You'll Do

    • Design and optimize Lean manufacturing cells to maximize space, equipment, material, and personnel utilization
    • Prepare and maintain detailed process layouts and related equipment documentation
    • Lead manufacturing launches for new and revised products — establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating outcomes
    • Develop work instructions, visual aids, and assembly documentation for production personnel
    • Apply statistical analysis to drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains
    • Interface with management, engineering, and cross-functional teams regarding manufacturing capabilities and production schedules
    • Represent manufacturing and engineering interests on cross-functional project teams

    What You'll Need

    • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
    • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience including process flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment
    • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen event facilitation
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD/process layout tools
    • Strong working knowledge of written product specifications and technical documentation
    • Experience with ERP systems — SAP strongly preferred
    • CNC programming experience is a plus
    • Defense or military product manufacturing experience preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple product lines simultaneously through the manufacturing process
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
