Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for robot assembly and production
  • Drive knowledge transfer from product design into manufacturing, ensuring designs are production-ready
  • Create clear work instructions and train production associates on robot build processes
  • Partner with Product Design, Supply Chain, and Finance to evaluate and execute make vs. buy decisions
  • Identify bottlenecks, improve throughput, and reduce cost and defects across manufacturing operations
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through full-scale production

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record launching new products into production
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing operations
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Familiarity with machine shops and metal fabrication processes
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
