The manufacturing engineer will play an integral role in the company's future success as they continue bringing in new product. The ideal candidate has experience leading new product from introduction to maturity, plus experience in both a machining (repeatable) production environment and a new product/R&D manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the manufacturing process/planning, procedures, inspection criteria and additional documentation required to meet customers: drawing, purchase order and specification requirements for new product and product revisionsAnalyze current manufacturing processes.Investigate, identify and report root cause and lead the implementation of corrective actionsProvide Engineering support for day-to-day production and inspection processes.Interface with the quality team for new product, rework, and deviations.Liaison between production, quality, supply chain and design engineering staff for complex problem solving and process changes.Must be able to work independently and as a team.Other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
