Role snapshot
- Troubleshoot electrical, computer, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment on fast-paced manufacturing lines.
- Interpret complex wiring schematics and electrical prints.
- Work across 24V/120V/240V/480V circuits and high-voltage distribution up to 34.5KV, including grounding, transformers, fuses, breakers, and disconnects.
- Maintain AC/DC motors and variable frequency drives; support servo motors and encoders.
- Use a laptop to diagnose PLCs (Allen-Bradley), Ethernet IP addressing, and serial communication issues.
- Tune and repair temperature control systems—thermocouples, controllers, solid-state relays, and heaters.
- Verify and repair industrial safety circuitry, including Emergency Stops.
What you bring
- HS diploma or GED plus 3–5 years of relevant experience or qualified technical education/certification.
- AAS or AOS in an electrical discipline preferred.
- Commitment to a standard 12-hour, nonrotating schedule (7 PM–7 AM) with occasional overtime on scheduled days off.
- Eligibility to obtain a Pactiv license for safe forklift and man-lift operation.
- Strict adherence to PPE, Pactiv safe work practices, and OSHA/NFPA 70E requirements.
- Strong team orientation with both internal and external resources.
