Client's Manufacturing Development Center (MDC) requires a staff augmentation resource to support vehicle build coordination and Production-Oriented Design (POD) activities for active Mosaic PAR programs (47V, 47F, and related platforms). The resource will work on-site under Client direction as an embedded member of the MDC team.
The Manufacturing Development Center (MDC) is responsible for driving manufacturing readiness by shifting design validation earlier in the development process. MDC leads Production-Oriented Design (POD) workshops during B-sample and C-sample phases of PAR programs, bringing together Design Engineering, Plant Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Program Management to resolve manufacturability issues before production launch.
MDC supports 9+ active PAR programs through 2032. The 47V (Western Star X-Series) and 47F (Blue Thunder M2/SD) programs are the primary focus for 2026–2027 as part of the broader Project Mosaic initiative.
The resource shall support MDC in the following areas under the Task Manager's direction:
August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027.
The resource is expected to operate as an embedded team member under Client direction. Performance is assessed on responsiveness, reliability, communication quality, and ability to work independently within the defined scope.
