Express Employment Professionals (North Hollywood) is recruiting a Manufacturing Assembly & Test Inspector for a client in North Hollywood. This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension. Call Veronica at 818-332-1622 for details.

What you’ll do

  • Inspect and test assembled parts at the line and at individual stations under the Quality Supervisor’s direction.
  • Execute mid-level to advanced assembly/inspection tasks beyond entry-level complexity.
  • Test at both sub-assembly and final assembly checkpoints.
  • Perform rework/repair on units or sub-assemblies to bring them back to standard.
  • Own quality and workmanship; uphold company production standards.
  • Complete simple equipment or process set-ups to support throughput.
  • Identify, document, and escalate issues in materials, tooling, machinery, and processes.
  • Lead or contribute to Root Cause Analysis for product defects and report findings clearly.
  • Carry out all core duties expected of an entry-level inspector.
  • Use the Four-Level Defect Grading System to flag and help resolve quality issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Handle other assigned tasks as needed.

What you bring

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 1–2 years in assembly or testing of inline manufacturing assemblies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and related precision gauges.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; follow written instructions in English.
  • Solid basic math skills and comfort with measurements (weight, volume, distance).
  • Ability to read simple sketches and shop drawings.
  • Capable of operating required equipment and tools.
