    Job Title: Manufacturing Analyst 1

    Contract Duration: July 20, 2026 - January 29, 2027
    Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (9x80 Schedule)
    Experience Required: 3+ years (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
    Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen Required
    Security Clearance: No active clearance required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

    Job Overview

    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst 1 to support the F-35 Assembly Tooling Organization in Palmdale, CA. This position supports production planning, manufacturing operations, tooling administration, cost tracking, inventory management, reporting, and process improvement in a collaborative aerospace manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Analyst will work closely with Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing activities.

    Responsibilities
    Support production planning and manufacturing operations.
    Track daily manufacturing costs and maintain production metrics.
    Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities.
    Prepare weekly and monthly production reports and dashboards.
    Maintain visibility charts and manufacturing performance data.
    Close and document tooling work orders.
    Validate incoming materials against Bills of Material (BOM).
    Develop and maintain tooling documentation and manufacturing records.
    Coordinate schedules with Production, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering teams.
    Order, track, and document chemical usage and inventory.
    Manage tool control, inventory, audits, asset tracking, and property accountability.
    Support certification compliance and manufacturing documentation.
    Assist with onboarding activities, staff meetings, safety initiatives, and team engagement.
    Identify and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
    Communicate project status and manufacturing updates to internal stakeholders.
    Required Qualifications
    U.S. Citizenship required.
    Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or
    Master's degree with 1+ year of related experience, or
    7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
    Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
    Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including:
    Microsoft Excel
    Microsoft Word
    Microsoft PowerPoint
    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to work any shift as required.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
    Experience supporting F-35 or aerospace tooling operations.
    Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) knowledge.
    Cost account management experience.
    SAP ERP experience.
    Government Property Management experience.
    Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) experience.
    Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
    Aerospace tooling knowledge.
    Business Administration background.
