The Managing Editor (ME) ofWeber: The Contemporary Westwill work with the faculty editors throughout the editorial,production,and promotional processes. The ME will oversee submissions for each category,assist the editors in assigning submissions to be read during Fall semester,evaluate and compile selected submissions and communicate to the editors,send out acceptances and contracts to contributors,oversee the editing of selected submissions,organize the publication schedule,assist with website design,oversee the publication of finalized submissions,meet regularly with the editors,assist in coordination of editorial interns,assist in promoting the publication,and organize and facilitate the issue launch.
