Summary: The Manager, Tennessee Partnerships, is responsible for building and managing a diverse network of community and corporate partnerships that drive the growth and sustainability of Soles4Souls in Tennessee. This role owns the full partnership lifecycle — from prospect identification and cultivation through solicitation, stewardship, and incremental growth — and is accountable for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual shoe, apparel and cause marketing goals.
Working collaboratively with Development, Marketing, and Operations teams, this role serves as a key bridge between Soles4Souls and communities across Tennessee, developing and executing mid- and long-term strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include partnership cultivation and stewardship, outreach, volunteer engagement, event participation, speaking opportunities, and impact reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Lead development and outreach efforts across Tennessee to meet revenue and product collections goals
• Develop, cultivate and solicit a portfolio of a diverse portfolio of local partners and prospects, including schools, civic groups, faith-based organizations, individuals and corporate partners.
• Secure commitments through compelling presentations, proposals, and value aligned partnership discussions.
Brand Building and Community Engagement:
• Build rapport with diverse stakeholders to cultivate trust and long-term engagement.
• Understand partner needs and align them with organizational goals and impact opportunities.
• Maintain strong follow up and ongoing communications to steward new partners effectively.
• Support the stewardship plans that encourage renewal and ongoing product/channel support.
• Serve as the organizational representative at all local conferences and events, engaging with attendees, coordinating frontline support, and developing new relationships.
• Lead the volunteer experience at our Nashville based warehouse
Strategic Execution
• Oversee execution of all partner related deliverables, including product donation
• Collaborate with internal teams to activate partnerships and ensure deliverables are met.
• Track progress toward acquisition and fundraising targets, providing regular updates and reporting.
• Contribute to partnership strategy development and refinement based on market insights and experience.
Measurement and Reporting:
• Evaluate market success and potential and, together with the VP Community Partnerships, develop plans which support market revenue growth and mission delivery
• Utilize HubSpot & NetSuite CRM to track and manage donor/prospect portfolio and monitor results toward fundraising and product collection goals; adhere to timely reporting of results to ensure accuracy of the fundraising and product pipeline and projection forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Consistent track record of delivering a high-volume of partnerships, demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategy with minimal oversight, demonstrated ability of owning the strategic growth of a program.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful corporate and individual fundraising experience, and a track record of effective nonprofit business development, including procuring product donations.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to details with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet frequent deadlines and prioritize work.
• Possess a collaborative work style and strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, key stakeholders, and donors in a manner that shows understanding of the mission.
• Willing and able to travel to manage portfolio of corporate and individual prospects and attend conferences and events
• Dynamic interpersonal and presentation skills with proven ability to give public presentations to diverse audiences; ability to communicate positively with multiple partners; excellent internal communication with S4S team
• Strong relationship management, project management skills, oral and written communication skills for various audiences, & strategic problem solver
• Confident converting networks leads to partners with a collaborative approach
• Strong network and existing relationships with organizations in designated region highly preferred
• Working knowledge of CRM (NetSuite is a plus!)
• Valid driver's license

• Work Environment: Be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and be exposed to varying weather conditions if applicable.
Compensation: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials.
