Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management.
8 years of experience in a technical project management role for the development of software systems in a cross-functional, cross-organizational context.
5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
5 years of experience in data centers repair and diagnostics domain.

About the job
Google"s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You"re equally at home explaining your team"s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
As a Manager of Technical Program Managers, you will advocate and continually optimize strategic and complex programs, driving consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale through your team"s efforts. You will orchestrate program strategy and lead your team of TPMs in order to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements. Your team"s programs will deliver business value as measured by impact on organizational or company-level OKRs, including organizational effectiveness and efficiency. You will advocate for your programs and team and ensure alignment of executive stakeholders. You and your team will be viewed as advanced subject-matter experts for your program portfolio. You will also engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits
