Department Overview This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonalds works. We provide outstanding foundational technology products and services including Global Networking, Cloud, End User Computing, and IT Service Management. Its our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers. The role will be part of the GTIO NIO (Network Infrastructure and Operations) Team collaborating with the Director of Global Network Security Platforms. The main responsibilities will be: Lead and manage the technical delivery of network and network security products and features to McDonalds internal teams and business units. Manage product backlogs, and prioritize deliveries aligned to the sprint cycles. Financial tracking and Budget management. Schedule tracking. Reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product delivery manager to help craft the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment. Duties & Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Network and Network Security Product/Platform deliveries that are multi-functional and highly sophisticated. Work with Technical Product Managers (TPM), Architects, Engineers, and wider collaborators to define scope, goals, and work youre doing. Develop and manage delivery plans, timelines, and budgets, and supervise progress against landmarks. Help define the product delivery roadmap and key landmarks and support the execution and delivery of products. Manage, mitigate, and call out risks and issues appropriately. Effectively manage dependencies and understand their impact on delivery. Communicate regular status updates/reports to management and a diverse set of collaborators, highlighting key breakthroughs as well as calling out any risks/issues. Set direction, empower, and encourage a large diverse team under a shared vision. Leverage policies, standards, and procedures that can be consistently applied and maximized across the business in support of delivering our products. Measure delivery performance and organizational change using appropriate tools and techniques to supervise the progress, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all collaborators. Align collaborators and team members by ensuring a common understanding of expectations. Solve difficult problems impacting a team or a delivery; identify ways to improve current customer needs/McDonalds ways of working. Responsible for helping to improve the overall quality of product or platform deliveries. Qualifications Willingness and ability to live the McDonalds values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family. 3+ years of Product Delivery experience or Project Management. PMP, Prince and/or Agile (Scrum/SAFE) certification. Basic Network and/or Network Security experience (Analyst/Engineer/Architect) and a great understanding of network concepts. Demonstrated ability to work across a large set of internal customers in technical and non-technical roles. Ability to handle consistent cross-collaboration and scope definition, thriving in ambiguity. Someone willing to learn and have an engaging dialogue on the merits of a system. Ability to deal with ambiguity and take accountability over delivery and quality. Experience 5+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelors degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Masters degree. Experience in delivering complex infrastructure, network, and/or network security products and platforms. Demonstrable Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodology. Technical experience managing or delivering network and network security products desirable. e.g. SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, SASE/SSE, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc. Retail and/or Hospitality experience is not required, but desirable. Financial and budget tracking experience. Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders. Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
