Responsibilities
The Manager of Security is responsible for overseeing and implementing security measures to ensure the safety and protection of the organization''s facilities, staff, patients, and visitors. Provides strategic oversight, operational management, proactive risk mitigation, and technological innovation to create a safe and secure environment. Develops and enforces security policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensures effective communication, staff development, budget support, interdepartmental relations, and personnel management.
Qualifications
Education High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Bachelor''s Degree in a related field preferred Experience 5 years of progressively responsible law enforcement/security experience required Previous supervisory/management experience required Experience in the security, military, healthcare industry, or a healthcare setting preferred Licenses and Certifications DL - Valid California Driver''s License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System required
