The opportunity

The Kohl's Sales Manager is responsible for establishing a strategic partnership with this key retail account to drive profitable sales growth and market share. The role leads execution of brand strategies for Maidenform Intimates and Women's Socks (Hanes/Gold Toe), in addition to relationship management, trade negotiations, optimizing assortment and promotional planning. This role requires cross functional team collaboration and hands-on sales execution.

The role

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and share growth targets
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior
  • Identify new business opportunities and space acquisition
  • Lead assortment strategies and negotiate product placement (space and location)
  • Accurately forecast sales projections and manage trade spend budgets
  • Support inventory management and production planning with in-depth analytics
  • Subscribes to the highest standards of business ethics and Global Code of Conduct

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and wholesale partners
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements
  • Monitor account performance and ensure alignment with brand standards
  • Conduct regular business reviews with major clients and internal business teams.

Brand Representation

  • Ensure consistent execution of brand image and merchandising standards
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and market insights
  • Use data to adjust strategies and improve results
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management

The requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience, preferably in apparel, fashion, or consumer goods
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with retail and ecommerce distribution channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace

  • Combination of in-office, remote office, and field sales
  • Some travel required
  • No relocation support offered
