What you'll do...

Role summary:

As a Business Development Account Executive (BDAE) your primary focus is on prospecting, discovery and closing. You will work with your top-notch onboarding team to ensure client success, while transitioning closed accounts to your AM team for growth. Ideal candidates exhibit high energy, possess a strong IQ/EQ and excel in fast paced environments. Engaging in hundreds of calls and emails a week, you'll leverage tools like SFDC, Sales loft and others to enforce your efforts.

The Sales team at Walmart Business drives growth by acquiring new clients and expanding membership engagement through strategic outreach. Focused on achieving key performance indicators and revenue targets, the team operates with a high level of pace and precision. Members collaborate closely to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and deliver tailored solutions that align with company goals. Emphasizing strong communication, negotiation, and pipeline management, the team supports sustainable business development and shareholder value creation while maintaining integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

What you'll do:

  • Aggressively pursue targeted accounts within designated territories.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through persistent prospecting and research.
  • Build a robust pipeline using cold calls, emails, and social media, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas and activity targets.
  • Articulate Walmart Business' value proposition and address customer pain points with tailored solutions.
  • Develop initial customer profiles to support further discovery by AEs or nurturing by Marketing.
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage, track, and report lead activities.
  • Refine sales processes to improve the lead generation and qualification efficiency.

What you'll bring:

  • 2 years of relevant sales experience, including prospecting, qualifying, and cold calling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and shifting priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
