    Designation: Manager Respiratory Therapy Location: Redwood City, CA Work Type: Full-Time | Onsite Multi-site Leadership

    About the Role Seeking an experienced Manager Respiratory Therapy to lead and oversee respiratory care services across one or multiple inpatient sites in Redwood City, CA. This leadership role is responsible for clinical excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and people development within a unionized healthcare environment.

    The ideal candidate brings strong clinical respiratory expertise, proven leadership experience, and a passion for patient-centered care and quality improvement in an inpatient setting.

    Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage respiratory therapy teams across one or multiple inpatient sites • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for clinical staff and leaders • Implement and monitor respiratory care standards, protocols, and evidence-based practices • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including patient safety and confidentiality • Oversee respiratory equipment utilization, inventory, and emerging technology adoption • Drive quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and workflow optimization • Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation • Analyze performance metrics and guide data-driven operational improvements • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and care coordination • Lead service recovery efforts, including patient complaints, grievances, and unusual occurrences • Support staff education, training, and continuous professional development
