The Pitch
Rise Internet is scaling a door-to-door sales organization across Texas, and we are looking for a sales manager who knows how to build one. Not administrate one — build one. Recruit hungry reps, coach them into closers, hold them accountable, and run a region that puts up numbers.
This is a hands-on, in-the-field leadership role. If you are happier riding territory with your reps than sitting in meetings, this is your seat. We will back you with a competitive base, real team overrides, and the autonomy to run your region like its yours — because it is.
What Youll Actually Own
- Regional sales number — you own it, you report it, you defend it.
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding reps (with HR and recruiting as your partners, not your bottleneck).
- Daily coaching and performance management of your team — in the field, not just in 1:1s.
- Territory assignment, route planning, and market coverage for fiber and fixed wireless.
- Rep development — moving Trainees into Associates, Associates into Reps, Reps into Seniors.
- Holding the bar. Coaching up the middle performers. Exiting the non-performers fast.
- Partnering with marketing, operations, and network teams to unlock your markets.
- Community engagement — local events, small-business partnerships, MDU outreach.

Who Were Looking For
- Youve led a door-to-door, field sales, or commissioned sales team — and youve hit the number.
- You recruit well. You know where good reps come from and how to keep them.
- You coach in the field, not from your desk.
- You hold people accountable without burning them out.
- You know how to read a reps numbers and know what to do about them.
- You are a builder — comfortable in ambiguity, fine without a corporate safety net.
- Minimum 3 years in sales leadership; 5+ years in sales overall.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but a proven track record beats a diploma.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
