Manager - Project/Product II

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 12-Months, possibly longer.
DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a Manager – Project/Product II to lead enterprise-wide safety projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for managing high-impact programs, developing strategies to improve safety culture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to drive results in complex, high-visibility projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead company-wide safety culture transformation projects, integrating individual project plans, timelines, and interdependencies.
- Develop objectives, short- and long-term strategies, and business cases for major safety initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams, meetings, and presentations to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform senior project management functions including scope definition, risk analysis/mitigation, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Track, report, and analyze project performance using metrics and dashboards.
- Implement business readiness activities including stakeholder analysis, change interventions, training, and communications.
- Ensure alignment of safety initiatives with organizational priorities and goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments, management, and vendors to obtain buy-in and ensure project success.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 7+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or contracts with enterprise-wide impact.
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, scope, schedules, and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to integrate work across departments, manage risks, and make effective decisions under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience with change management, training, and communications in complex projects.
