Primary Position Responsibilities Oversees the planning and execution of large scale, enterprise-level portfolio, program, and project activities and resources to see that established time, cost, scope and quality goals are met Coaches and mentors staff to recognize their opportunities for improvement in a constructive manner, encouraging growth, leading by example and being visible Successful communication with leadership regarding implementation and deployment of portfolio/programs/projects including status, issues, risks, and incidents. Able to conduct successful presentations to staff by leading discussion topics. Implements comprehensive long and short-term project planning and work schedules in alignment with strategic initiatives Exhibits advanced proficiency in system development, methodology, tools, and practices Other duties as assigned Work Contact Group (Internal/External) Departmental personnel, general staff, vendors Reporting Relationships Reports to (position): Administrative Director, Transformation Supervises (position(s): Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Project Coordinators Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, related field OR equivalent experience Preferred: Masters Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 5 years experience with project management within healthcare information technology and services in a hospital setting Preferred: 7 years experience with project management within healthcare information technology and services, 2 of which consisted of management experience, in a hospital setting, business/financial, administrative, or related area License, Registry or Certification: Required: Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Broad relevant technical knowledge. Proven business experience affecting long and short-term project planning. Experience in providing customer service support and broad knowledge of business integration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to foster collaborative relationships. Preferred: Demonstrated management of complex business system integration.
