Position Summary:
The manager is responsible for the programs, services and operations of the Biller Patient and Family Resource Center, the Positive Image Center, and the Patient Resources Program.
The manager works closely with Department of Supportive Care Medicine teams, City of Hope's Patient and Family Advisory councils (PFAC, El Concilio, and potentially others) and additional collaborators to continually enhance, expand, evaluate, and market the Biller Resource Center programs and services. 'The Biller Resource Center Manager has an instrumental role in the development of the Integrative Medicine Program.
Leadership in cross-departmental collaborations and relationship building across the Enterprise are vital aspects of this role. Relationship-building with Philanthropy, donors and relevant community and religious organizations are important responsibilities of this position.
The manager will implement systems, processes, and procedures to improve services, operations, and efficiency as well as respond to changes within the Institution and changes in the external environment.
The Biller Resource Center Manager manages departmental personnel, including hiring and onboarding, supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluations, with a focus on high performance teams and engagement.
